ACTIVITY 3.3 (Individual) --- How to get to EMOZ.
This activity is a WRITTEN MEDIATION and you get a mark through a written note.
Imagine you are participating in an exchange programme and a student called John Smith is staying at your home for a week. You discovered that he likes origami (the art of folding objects out of paper) and there is an origami museum in Zaragoza called EMOZ. You want to go with him but you can't because you have got a lot of exams.
- WRITE A NOTE on a paper to John Smith telling him that you cannot go because of the exams, but it is an interesting place to go on a weekday morning. Give directions so he can go on his own from IES El Picarral.
Before you write the note, follow these steps:
1 Search for the EMOZ opening hours to find the best time and date. How much does it cost?
2 Use Google Maps to know how to get to EMOZ from school. Which means of transport does he need? How much is the ticket of that means of transport? How long does it take to get there?
3 Write the note explaining why you can't go with him and giving detailed directions so that he doesn't get lost in his way to the museum. Say you are sorry because he has to go alone.
